2007 marks another exciting year at the Lions Rowing Club. The club is currently in its sixth year of developing and supporting rowing in the Los Angeles area. The Lions Rowing Club receives no dedicated funding from external resources and is entirely member and donor supported. Equipment, coaching fees, and all other expenses are dependent on membership fees, volunteers, donations and sponsorships.
We invite you to explore the many ways to assist the Lions Rowing Club in continuing to offer the best in recreational and competitive rowing.
Over the years, donations to the Lions Rowing Club have helped us build a successful rowing program in addition to encouraging many men and women to row and develop as athletes. Funds have enabled the Lions to acquire needed boats, oars and other equipment to serve a fast growing number of participants, including novices, those who attend regular practices and the advanced members who participate in regattas throughout the country.
Our current project includes fundraising for the painting of our oars!
For a minimum $150 donation, will we put your name on a sweep or sculling oar.
Oars will be sent to the paint shop when we have raised a minimum of $1500.
Contributions should be made payable to "LMU Crew" and mailed to:
Lions Rowing Club, 1 LMU Drive, MS8235, Los Angeles, CA 90045.
