Eleven members of the Lions Rowing Club competed at the Long Beach Erg Sprints on Saturday. The indoor rowing competition, hosted by the Long Beach Rowing Association, is a satellite qualifier for the CRASH-B indoor rowing World Championships. Competitors race over a distance of 2000 meters on the Concept 2 "ergometer," an indoor rowing machine.

Four members of the Lions Rowing Club traveled to Oak Ridge, Tennessee to compete at the 2007 USRowing Masters National Championships. The team braved the 100 degree heat to race over four days, August 9-12. In the first day of competition, Sara-Mai Conway won her heat in the Women's AA Single to advance to the afternoon final. The Lions Rowing Club competed for the third time in
the Women's Club Eights event Saturday, October 20th at the Head of the
Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Due to last year's second place finish, and an obscure Head of the Charles rule
that prohibits competitors who have placed in the top-five from returning
to the Club event, the line-up for the Lions consisted of an entirely
