Lions Rowing Club members raced this past weekend at the Head of the American, hosted by the Sacramento State Aquatic Center in Lake Natoma, Sacramento.

LionsRC members raced in several sculling events, bringing home 2 gold medals and one silver.

October, 2006: LionsRC - Fastest "Club 8+" at the Head of the Charles Regatta
Members of the Lions Rowing Club just returned from the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, MA as the fastest Women's "Club" 8+, having placed second to the University of Tennessee in the Women's Club Eights race on Saturday.

August, 2006: Lions Rowing Club wins 3 National titles, 3 silver, 1 bronze
Seattle, WA. 19 members of the Lions Rowing Club traveled to the USRowing 2006 Masters National Championships August 10 through 13th, raced in 20 events, 17 finals and came home with a total of 7 medals.

February, 2006: Lions Rowing Club hosts first sculling workshop
LionsRC played host this weekend to its first annual sculling camp. Ten participants joined the three-day event, which offered on-the-water instruction, video analysis and presentations on rowing-related topics given by local coaches and rowers. WinTech Racing supplied a number of doubles and singles for use over the weekend.
