LionsRC members traveled to Oakland, CA this past weekend to race in USRowing's 2005 Southwest Regional Masters Championships. The event, hosted by Lake Merritt Rowing Association, featured crews from 34 clubs in the Southwestern US.

The Lions Rowing Club hosted the Rumble in the Jungle Regatta on Father's Day, June 19th. It was the first event hosted by the Los Angeles based, two and a half year old rowing club. Over 300 competitors participated in more than 50 events. Racing was held in Ballona Creek in Marina del Rey and each event was 1000 meters, running from west to east in the creek.
