The mission of the Lions Rowing Club is to offer the best in competitive and recreational rowing opportunities to the Los Angeles area.

This is accomplished by providing supervised rowing sessions in which all people are given equal opportunity to row with others of their same age, technique and fitness level.

While the recreational experience is respected, the competitive experience is encouraged and members are expected to strive to achieve a personal best in performance, as measured by individual improvements or achievements in competition.

Members are encouraged to work as a team, while personally developing through the challenge of the sport of rowing.
